Hi {{Ping|WikiDan61}},
I will take a look that the articles you sent me on editing and syntax. I am trying to unify the spelling of her name so that it is correct as there are laws and buildings named after her. Is there a way that I can send the information to an expert editor to make the edits?
Thanks,

I've added notes to both Dorothy Donohue and California Master Plan for Higher Education noting that the various available sources differ on the spelling of her name. Odd how such a simple matter can get away from the various authors involved. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:49, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that looks great! Thank you!! Is there a way that the lead section that says "Dorothy Donahoe" can be edited to say "Dorothy M. Donahoe"? Since the legislation and buildings named after her have this spelling. I am hoping that this will also help disambiguate her from others with the same first and last name. The lead section of the Dorothy Donohue article already lists here full name as Dorothy M. Donohue. The lead section of the California Master Plan for Higher Education lists here name as "Dorothy M. Donahoe" (but is linked to the Dorothy Donohue article). What else do you think needs to change? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:21, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe I am explaining it wrong? The title (?) of the article still says "Dorothy Donohue." I wanted to change this specifically to "Dorothy M. Donahoe". Sorry for the confusion. KCdata66 (talk) 22:24, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Given that the sources are varied on the spelling of her name, we'd have to review all the available sources to see if any one spelling has greater preference. I'd suggest opening a requested move discussion on Talk:Dorothy Donohue. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:56, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, WikiDan61. I appreciate the guidance. This is all new to me! KCdata66 (talk) 17:21, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
